Dr. Tanya Oswald has been a physician for over 18 years. She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Oswald also completed her fellowships in Microsurgery and Complex Wound Reconstruction and Hand and Peripheral Nerve Surgery.
Upon completion of her fellowships, Dr. Oswald joined a private plastic and hand surgery group for several years. She later became a vital part of a nationally known Burn and Reconstructive practice where she helped develop burn treatment programs for patients in multiple states. There, she assisted patients and their families in needs of financial assistance and social support. She also started a laser burn scar treatment program to alleviate patients with devastating burn scar deformities. Dr. Oswald came to the Denver area as the co-medical director for a burn and plastic surgery reconstruction program at Swedish Medical Center. She later found Greater Denver Plastic and Hand Surgery.
Her areas of expertise include plastic and reconstructive surgeries, brachial plexus and peripheral nerve surgeries, microsurgery, including amputated part reattachments, and hand surgeries. Dr. Oswald is excited to be a part of Physical Medicine of the Rockies as it offers a truly unique experience for her surgical specialty through joining a collaborative approach to create a continuity of care model for quality and value-based care.
